This is an interesting acoustic that came in trade. Several mods that we will do our best to point out, and priced accordingly.
OK, the first and most obvious upgrade - someone spent a lot of money to add mother of pearl rosette and binding to the body. Stock b-25's are rather utilitarian, this adds a rich beauty to it. Probably around this time the guitar was over sprayed. Look at pic of headstock as further evidence of this. While we're on the headstock, obviously tuners have been changed as well. Also, a pickup was added. Don't know which brand, but see pics of inside body showing this.
Lot's on dings, scratches, couple cracks - none of which are fatal or impair playability. Please look over the photos closely and ask any questions you might have.
Look, clearly this one has been through a lot, but plenty of stories still to tell in this 56 year old acoustic !
Later Gibson acoustic hard shell case that is in very good condition.
Don't want to ship this to an unsuspecting buyer and have it come back. Eyes wide open, it's a non-original player...maybe even a banger. Sold as is. But it's an old Gibson, and we all love those!
