1968 Marshall Super Lead Tremolo plexi 100 watt head, model T1959. These late 60s Super Leads are highly sought after and this is a wonderful example. Sounds absolutely amazing !! Serial: 10015
This amp has been in my family for over 45 years. About 4 years ago, it was meticulously restored and needed maintenance by the legendary Ziv Nagari in NYC. At one time, my cousin had Jeff Bloch (Brooklyn) put a master volume in. It was all the rage in that era. Ziv brought this back to original spec and changed a few caps, out Mullards in, etc. we have included pics of innards for you to peruse. The trem circuit is jumped as the footswitch is long gone.
Very few hours on it since making it right - started the guitar shop, and got very busy. We use it when we want the real Hendrix tone....glorious ! ( we have red '71 Marshall 4x12 with Green Backs! Inquire if interested). I've read some report that this model is Eric Johnson's go to was well.
Great for recording, or just those interested in the time piece.
Includes two replacement logos, one with gold lettering. I never could bring myself to change from the broken original - I think it looks cool the way it is.
Also, look at the vintage Marshall cover !! It's included in the sale as well.
