Here we have a really special 40th Anniversary Les Paul R9 from 1999 that's fresh out of a 20 year collection and is in very good condition. There is the slightest buckle rash on the back but very light and not through the finish. Gibson fans refer to the "Good Wood Era" as 1999-2002 when the maple tops and mahogany that were used were of the highest quality. This guitar has beautiful eastern maple top. This guitar has had black beauties added to upgrade the orange drop caps and is a beautiful cherry burst finish that's faded nicely tea burst.
