If you're looking for a killer playing and sounding '61 SG with plenty of mojo and vibe check out this Rossington '61 SG that was aged by Tom Murphy. This is an absolutely great sounding guitar with an amazing set of Gibson '57 Classic PAF's. Sometimes it all just comes together from the factory and you get a magical sounding guitar. Along the last 16 years this guitar has faded from the cherry red to it's current faded red. With Murphy's aging it looks like the real deal. This guitar has been refetted with larger fret wire, I'd say it feels like 6100 wire. Also in 2003 Gibson used Brazilian rosewood on the first 75 guitars of this run and this is the 65th in the series. This ships in its original case but does not have a COA. One look at the guitar's aging and the back of the headstock tells the tale of this guitar more than a paper COA from Gibson. If you have any questions about this unique guitar please let us know.
