In the spirt of bringing our customer really rare and cool Gibson guitars we just unearthed the original prototype for the ES 359 model. This guitar was commissioned by Guitar Center as a fully dressed alternative to the popular ES 339 model. All of the deluxe appointments of a Gibson Custom are here gold hardware, ebony fingerboard with block inlays and the diamond headstock inlay. The guitar also has a flamed maple top and back finished in the classic Gibson cherry red. A letter from Gibson to GC confirms this guitar's place in the history books.
