Similar to high-elevation European alpine spruce, this wood was abundant in the 1930s and used on the Martin guitars of that era. Its extraordinary tone, prized for its dynamic projection and tonal clarity, contributes significantly to the CEO-7's sound. The back and sides are composed of solid genuine mahogany, which provides the CEO-7 with a thick and meaty character. Rich with magnificent harmonic overtones, the CEO-7's tone tends to bloom, giving your sound extra depth.
