2017 Gibson 1959 Aged Les Paul Standard Reissue Music Zoo Roasted Exclusive

In the pursuit of finding great Les Paul's we couldn't help ourselves after we opened the case on this stunning example.  If you love unique R9's this run of roasted versions made as a Music Zoo Exclusive really is amazing.  This one has that rare flame that looks like a real '59 burst at certain angles and the factory aging is very tasteful.  In 2015 Gibson would launch the True Historic series and the guitars received all new plastic components, top carve, aniline dyes, and hide glue construction.  This one has all of those features at Music Zoo's request and also a great weight.  As to tone this guitar is right up there with some of the best we've had in the shop.  Due to the roasted nature of this guitar we think the tones that are produced from the drying process get the wood closer to the old broth wood they originally used in the '50s.  The "Historic Select" COA and warranty card is included, hang tags are for a historic LP but also included.   The guitar will ship in the aged Lifton case used during the TH era.  Gibson didn't produce many of these so here's another rare chance to grab a rare R9 from us at Watchtower Guitars.
