Just into the shop is this gently used MGL20. This is a really great amp to rock out at home. Its the perfect wattage and has a great master volume. Marshall 4x12 not included!
From MGL
MGL AmpWorks MGL20 head. The circuit of this amp is very similar to a 50w plexi with a good master volume and a lower wattage 6V6 power section. The end result is a tone that’s mostly Marshall with a touch of Fender tweed mixed in. With the master volume low you can get great tones at “around the house” volumes but will also fine at smaller venue band gigs. The higher you get the volume, the more the amp starts to react like an older non-master. It gets really big and fat and single notes easily swell into controllable feedback without the ear splitting volume. Lead notes really sing and are fat & creamy. Great for blues and ‘60’s-70’s classic rock. Early ZZ Top tones are very easy to get. Overall a super fun amp to play! Amp is available in 3 head cab sizes, 26"(standard 50 small box), 24" and a small 20" to fit on top of the smaller 1-12" speaker cabs without hanging over the sides. Just like the MGL50, this amp is all point to point hand wired and built in-house by Guy Harvey.
