The Paul Reed Smith (PRS) Private Stock Paul's Guitar in Sub Zero Glow Smokeburst is a masterpiece of craftsmanship and design. This particular model, Private Stock Paul's Guitar Brazilian #10454, is a testament to PRS's commitment to excellence and attention to detail. The guitar features a stunning quilted maple top paired with an African mahogany back, providing a rich and resonant tone. The neck is crafted from mahogany and topped with a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, adorned with Sparkle Mother of Pearl 'J' bird inlays with Curly Maple centers. The headstock veneer is also Brazilian rosewood, featuring a matching inlay of the Private Stock 'J' Eagle.
The high gloss nitro finish in Sub Zero Glow Smokeburst adds a striking visual appeal, while the hardware includes a Gold/Nickel PRS aluminum stoptail bridge with brass inserts and PRS Phase III set-screw locking tuning pegs with Brazilian rosewood buttons. The electronics consist of Paul's TCI pickups for both the treble and bass, controlled by one volume, one tone control, a 3-way toggle, and two mini switches.
