This is a stunning piece of history right here. Made by C.F. Martin, Model 00-42, dated 4-1898 (April, 1898) and initialed FM/HAV"., serial #8121. A very attractive guitar with wide pearl top purfling, an ivory bridge, two tone bars, Lower bout 14", Scale length 25-5/16". With likely French polish on the back and sides. The pearl on the tuning pegs is starting deteriorate. Ships in a Calton hardcase.
