This is one of those amazing instruments that has all the vibe and TONE to make it a shop favorite...we are having a blast with this one! Rock with attitude!
The wear is honest and natural. Original patent # pickups. The tuners have been changed to more functional Kluson-style Schallers, and the bridge is a newer abr-1 style. None of these upgrades are unusual for the era. This was a player's instrument....a badass one at that!
This seems to be an early 1970 transitional Black Beauty, as the pot date to 18th week of that year, but the body is not a sandwich. It does have the volute, and the sprague black beauty caps.
