Well how about an uncirculated Gustavsson Custom '59 Limited for everyone to drool over. Johan shipped this guitar direct to our client. This guitar just sounds and feels old and more like a vintage Les Paul from the late '50's. Johan's guitar are not just works of art but are incredible instruments that are meant for someone to cherish for a lifetime. This one is loaded with Throbak SLE-101 pickups and is in perfect condition. Just look at the Brazilian rosewood fingerboard that was used on this guitar. Just right. I've had many of these guitars through my hands over the years and this one sounds amazing just like the others. That's the most consistent thing about this builder is that I've yet to play a Bluesmaster that I didn't like. She ships in her original case with signed hang tag. I developed a robust skill set during my vintage guitar restoration years. I put a lot of attention and intention into developing finishing techniques that would enable my work to fade into the natural aging that would occur over the lifetime of a well loved and played instrument. I brought these techniques over to my Bluesmaster “59 platform when I created the Bluesmaster Limited.
This model immediately feels familiar.Finish is faded and aged to a beautiful patina. Binding edges are rounded over as one would find on a well worn Kalamazoo Singlecut. Materials and finish also reflect subtle touches like body binding ridge, aged and shrunken celluloid inlays with sanding marks, edge wear, etc.
