This recent Shur Classic S HSS in black is a great modern configuration on a classic theme. The V60LP pickups and SSV bridge pickup work really well together. This also has the SSCH system that works so well at alienating the 60 cycle hum from the single coil pickups. Humbucker Music also configured this with the roasted alder body and roasted flamed maple neck with rosewood fingerboard.
