This 1963 Fender Stratocaster in Sonic Blue is a remarkable piece of musical history, showcasing the classic aesthetics and sound that have made the Stratocaster a favorite among guitarists for decades. This particular guitar features a very old refin in the correct nitro Sonic Blue, which has naturally aged to give it a vintage appeal. Weighing in at 8lbs, this guitar is comfortable to play while still delivering the iconic Strat tone that players love.
This Stratocaster retains all original parts, including the pickups and electronics, with the exception of an added 5-way switch, while the original 3-way switch is also included. We can also see the evidence of a removed string tree that was filled in the headstock, this is shown in the pictures. The guitar comes equipped with a whammy bar and is housed in its original hard shell case (OHSC) with white tolex, complete with keys for added security. The instrument has undergone a very nice refret, ensuring that it plays smoothly and effortlessly. This 1963 Stratocaster is not just a guitar; it's a piece of art and a testament to Fender's legacy.
