1964 Firebird III Cardinal Red OHSC

Fresh out of a large vintage collection of rare 1960's Gibson Firebird's this custom color '64 Firebird III is one of the crown jewels.  If you want a vintage bird with the real deal vibe here's one that just drips with natural checking. You'll notice in the pictures the beautifully aged cardinal red finish.  She's got one small headstock split where there was an expert repair done and some overspray on the back of the headstock where the repair was done.  You can see in the pictures that the original serial number is still there and that the original finish is on the back of the neck and the rest of the guitar.  If not for this minor repair she'd be double the price. The guitar's pickups pots and hardware are all original.
