The tones this wonderful piece of history are able to now achieve are just sublime. IF you want authentic Marshall tones, this is the amp for you. Sounds incredible with a Strat - as those in the know expect with a vintage Super Bass !
Highlights of the work done by JW:
Recapped all electrolytic filter caps (main, G2, Phase inv, cathode, V1, etc)
Recapped Bias supply
Removed poor/incorrect parts, pots (NOS 1M-A period correct UK made), added 100pf Silver Mica bright cap
redid solder joints
cleaned board, removed cleaned and resoldered sockets
power cable upgrade
Checked all voltages, set bias
Full report will be provided the purchaser
No rear panel, but repro's are widely available out there.
