1979 Gibson "The Paul"

Fresh into the shop this '79 The Paul is all original and in good condition.

If you were like me in 1979, this was a viable option when purchasing my first Les Paul - I opted for a Custom from the same year. 

However, this was always so much cooler. Punk for days with those original T-tops, it loves to be aggressive. Back it off, and it mixes some sweetness into raw...amazing.

Once again, be the toughest kid on your cul-de-sac....

A single sharp cutaway Les Paul-style walnut body, set walnut neck, 22-fret ebony fingerboard with pearl dot inlays, walnut headsock with gold Gibson logo. Factory RGover tuners, three-per-side tuners, tune-o-matic bridge, stop tailpiece, two exposed humbucker "T" top pickups, four knobs (two volume, two tone), three-way pickup switch, chrome hardware. 24.75-inch (628.6 mm) scale, and 1.6875-inch (42.9 mm) nut width.
