1990 Paul Reed Smith PRS Special 24 Black

Here's another rare early PRS Model that you don't see very often.  In 1990 PRS debuted the Special which included the HFS and Vintage Bass pickups, tremolo uprouting, factory tone control, and the amazing wide thin neck carve.  I included a picture of the original PRS Dealer Price Guide from 1990 for this model.  This 1990 PRS Special was just traded in by the second owner who's had the guitar since 1991.  When he got the guitar the bridge pickup was replaced with a Seymour Duncan Distortion pickup.  The DDJ sticker is still on it and the original HFS pickup is not included.  Other than that and strap lock buttons the guitar is original and this model also has the optional gold hardware which looks great on the black finish.  As far as condition she's been well played but not abused.  It's hard to show on black but I'd rate this guitar at good condition.  Please contact us for an in hand description if you need more details.  This guitar ships in its original form fit case.
