Highly flamed top - which is wide / curvy grain, rather than a tight ribbon, which we prefer on a big top like this. 

The '57 Classic / "Patent Applied For" pickups are just that - Classic ! This era of 335's especially offer tremendous value....those who know, know. We bought a whole bunch of 335's to conduct tone experiments, this one really stands out.
