2007 Gibson '59 Les Paul Tom Murphy Aged Yamano Sunrise Teaburst

In the pursuit of finding great Les Paul's we couldn't help ourselves after we opened the case to this rare beauty.  This is a really amazing example of Tom Murphy's aging process on a '59 Les Paul historic.  If you're a student of real bursts you'll notice that this guitar has that faded sunburst color that the we all love.  This particular guitar was a special order for the Japanese market and distributer Yamano and finished in a custom color Sunrise Teaburst.  It somehow didn't go to Japan and our customer in the US has had it for years.  Some very cool upgrades were done.  A set of Gibson prototype pickups were installed by BCR Music and Greg was told only four sets were made.  It was rumored that Joe Perry got a set to try out.  They sound great and were probably an early version of the custombucker.  All case candy and COA are included.  I can hear the Bluesbreaker licks playing already.
