This guitar sounds great, is in excellent condition – some minor player wear, very light fret wear, but clean, without defects, and that classic Gibson sound... The Gibson Hummingbird Artist has slightly rounder shoulders than the traditional Hummingbird. However, it is still constructed with a solid Sitka spruce top and solid Tropical mahogany for the back and sides, all cherry sunburst stained and nitrocellulose lacquer finished. The neck is made of select mahogany, and features a rounded profile joined at the 14th fret. The Indian rosewood fingerboard and bridge add a touch of warmth to the balanced and clear tone of this mahogany and spruce dreadnought. And, you’ll love watching your fingers dance over the beautiful mother of pearl parallelogram position inlays. An LR Baggs active Element acoustic pickup with a sound hole volume knob provides a connection to the outside world in a larger stage setting. This guitar ships with its OHSC with case candy shown.
