This 2007 Fender Vintage Hot Rod '52 Telecaster in Butterscotch Blonde pairs classic Tele tone with a modern twist courtesy of a Seymour Duncan mini-humbucker in the neck position. The ash or alder body (typical for Hot Rod '52 models) wears the era-correct butterscotch finish and a single-cut, slab-style Tele bridge for punchy bridge pickup response. The neck sports a vintage C profile with a 21-fret maple fingerboard and a 25.5" scale length, delivering the familiar snap and clarity Tele players expect while remaining comfortable for extended playing. This guitar is in excellent condition with a few small chips on the edge of the instrument.
This example weighs 7 lbs 11 oz and includes all case candy plus the original hardshell case (OHSC) in tweed. Electronics include the Seymour Duncan mini-humbucker at the neck and a traditional single-coil at the bridge with a 3-way switch and master volume and tone controls, offering everything from glassy quack to thicker, warmer neck tones. Ideal for players who want classic Tele feel with added low-end and reduced noise from the mini-humbucker.
