2020 Experience PRS 509 Grey Black 10 Top & Flamed Maple Neck/Ebony Board

We couldn't be at the 2020 PRS Experience this year like everyone else but Paul still made some amazing guitars to celebrate the online Experience this year.  Watchtower Guitars was able to get several of the Modern Eagle V's as well as some other special guitars that were made for the 2020 Experience.  Stay tuned as they'll be up soon!

Specially made to commemorate the 2020 Experience PRS event, which was celebrated virtually in May, this limited 509 finished in grey black with a 10 top has a special ordered flamed maple satin finish neck that really makes it stand out visually and sonically.  Also the fingerboard is ebony like Paul uses on the Artist package guitars.  It really completes the package.

As one of the most versatile guitars in the PRS lineup, the 509 harnesses the power of 5 pickups to deliver 9 uniquely musical tones. The 509 starts with a 5 single coil platform - with the outside four coils grouped as humbuckers. An innovative switching system (a 5-way blade switch and two mini-toggle coil-tap switches), gives players an array of humbucking, singlecoil, and blended tones.

Unique appointments include a longer 25.25" scale length which adds upper harmonic sparkle and the PRS Gen III Patented Tremolo which provides impressive sustain. 

For 2020, PRS has updated this model with a nitro over cellulose (CAB) finish.
