With the exact same front-end as the Super 17, the 33 features four EL84s instead of two in a basic 4-knob combo with reverb. Between the four output tubes and the twin 12" speakers, it is harmonically rich and beautifully textured in a manner that is extremely flattering to single coil pickups - including the P-90.
