The LSL Instruments Bad Bone 290 "Crocodile" is a distinctive electric guitar that combines historical materials with modern craftsmanship. Weighing 7 lbs 3 oz, this guitar features a body made from reclaimed pine, sourced from a 100-year-old barn in Kentucky. The body is finished in an oiled and grimey look, which, along with medium aging, gives it a vintage, well-worn aesthetic. The aging process includes some finish removal, discoloration, and scuffing, adding to its unique character.
The neck is crafted from 3A roasted flame maple and finished in satin, providing a smooth and comfortable playing experience. It features a Sherry neck shape and a matching 3A roasted flame maple fingerboard with a 9.5" radius, making it highly playable. The guitar is equipped with 21 frets of 6105 size, vintage chrome hardware, and a black pickguard. The electronics include a VT3way configuration with a P90 pickup in the neck and a humbucker in the bridge, both in black with a chrome ring on the humbucker. This versatile pickup configuration offers a wide range of tonal possibilities, suitable for various musical genres.
