The LSL Instruments Bad Bone 1 Chris Fleming Team Built in Butterscotch is a limited-production, player-focused solid-body electric that blends vintage appointment cues with modern build precision. The body is ash with no top wood, finished in a saturated butterscotch; weight is 7 lbs 12 oz. Aging is medium across body, neck (knock-back gloss), and hardware, giving a worn-but-cared-for look. Hardware is chrome with vintage-style bridge and tuners, chrome knobs, and a black pickguard. The quartersawn maple neck and matching quartersawn maple fingerboard are finished in gloss amber tint with a Fat C profile and a 9.5" radius; the headstock carries the same gloss amber tint. The neck offers a “played-in” feel and is fitted with 21 jumbo 6105 frets for comfortable bends and fast runs.

Electronics are wired as a VT 3-way with an SH (50’s Style) LSL pickup configuration—black cover at the neck and chrome at the bridge—delivering classic single‑coil‑like clarity with added midrange heft. The control layout and pickup voicing suit rock, blues, and vintage-leaning tones while remaining flexible enough for harder-edged playing. Overall, this Chris Fleming collaboration emphasizes hand-fitted details, stable vintage hardware, and a maple-on-ash tonal palette that balances brightness, snap, and body.
